AirCheck's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use / End User License Agreement, in full.
Effective Date: July 14, 2026
Welcome to AirCheck.
At AirCheck, your privacy is fundamental to our mission. AirCheck was designed to help pilots—not to collect their personal information. We believe that the best way to protect your data is to avoid collecting it whenever possible.
Unlike many modern applications, AirCheck is not built around advertising, behavioral profiling, or cloud-based data collection. Our goal is simple: perform the work on your device, keep your information on your device, and only process what is necessary for the feature you choose to use.
By downloading or using AirCheck, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
AirCheck was founded on a simple principle:
We believe pilots should remain in control of their data. Whenever technically possible, AirCheck performs processing directly on your iPhone or iPad instead of transmitting information to external servers.
If information never leaves your device, it cannot be sold, profiled, or exposed through unnecessary cloud storage.
Privacy is not an added feature of AirCheck—it is a core design principle.
AirCheck is an application developed exclusively for Apple's iOS and iPadOS platforms.
The application uses Apple-provided technologies and user-granted system permissions to provide voice interaction and aviation assistance.
You remain in complete control of permissions such as microphone access, Bluetooth connectivity, notifications, and location services through your Apple device settings.
During normal operation, AirCheck is designed to process only the information necessary to respond to your request.
Depending on the features you choose to use, this may include:
This information is processed only for the purpose of providing the requested functionality.
AirCheck is designed not to permanently store this information during normal operation.
AirCheck accesses your microphone only after you grant permission through iOS.
Voice input is processed solely to interpret commands and provide requested assistance.
AirCheck:
When connected to compatible aviation applications, AirCheck may temporarily process information such as:
This information is processed solely to provide aviation assistance requested by the pilot.
AirCheck is designed not to maintain permanent flight histories unless a future feature specifically requires user-controlled storage.
AirCheck is designed around local processing.
Our objective is to keep information on your device whenever practical.
AirCheck does not require an active Internet connection for its primary in-flight functionality.
During normal operation, voice commands and flight-related information are intended to remain on your device rather than being transmitted to external servers.
During normal use of AirCheck, we are not designed to collect:
We do not sell personal information.
We do not rent personal information.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising.
If you purchase a subscription to AirCheck, payment processing and subscription management are handled by Apple's App Store and, where applicable, trusted third-party subscription management providers.
AirCheck does not receive or store your payment card information.
These providers may process information necessary to validate your subscription in accordance with their own privacy policies.
AirCheck does not sell, rent, or license your personal information.
We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
Information may be disclosed only if required by applicable law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of AirCheck, our users, or others.
AirCheck follows the principle of data minimization.
If information does not need to be stored, we do not intentionally store it.
Temporary information processed while fulfilling a request is designed to exist only for as long as necessary to complete that request.
Protecting user information is an important part of AirCheck's design.
We employ reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect information during processing.
These measures may include:
While no software can guarantee absolute security, AirCheck is designed to minimize unnecessary exposure by minimizing unnecessary data collection.
AirCheck is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
As AirCheck evolves, this Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in functionality, legal requirements, or privacy practices.
If material changes are made, we will provide notice through the application or our website before those changes become effective.
